KIEV, September 25 – Spurred on by their victory over the unbeaten team from the Slovac Republic, the guests from Latvia were forced to change the game in the last quarter.

They were down by 13 at the beginning of the fourth period (75-62), but they outscored the hosts with 35-10 in the last 10 minutes.
Outstanding was the performance of Gunta Basko and Ieva Kublina. Both scored 29 points for their team.

The final score was 85-97 for the Baltic Team.
