Poland secured their stay at EuroBasket Women in Turkey on Tuesday night, defeating Ukraine in the additional qualifying tournament to become the 12th and final qualifer for the event.
A total of 10 teams participated in the additional qualifying round, with Poland, Ukraine and Slovak Republic making it through to the tournament which would determine who would play at EuroBasket Women.
Poland, Ukraine and Slovakia will all have the chance to grab the final EuroBasket Women spot after after securing wins in their respective groups of the Additional Qualifying Round on Sunday night.
The 3 teams will play each other in the Additional Qualifying Tournament, which will take place 28-30 August in Bursa, Turkey.

Tkachenko has seen enough in the additional qualifying round for the European competition to know the national team will fly high in the years ahead.

The draw for the 2005 EuroBasket Women Additional Qualifying Tournament was set today in Athens, Greece under the auspices of FIBA Europe Secretary General Nar Zanolin and Sports Director Kosta Iliev.
