Slovakian women's coach Jozef Resetar was not too downhearted despite watching his team lose in the final of the Slovakian Grand Prix tournament against Hungary on Sunday.

The home side were beaten 70-53 but Resetar said: "I am satisfied with the performance of my players.

"They fought well, although you could see that they need to train a little before qualification for the European Championships begins."

Resetar's team will play two friendlies against Hungary away from home next month before they open their qualifying campaign against Ukraine in Kiev on September 8.
