Croatia captain Katarina Maloca is confident her side can earn the results needed to secure qualification for next year's European Championships.

Croatia women's team are continuing their preparations in Bjelolasica, although coach Viktor Kovac is without several key players.

Some are injured, while others have opted against joining up with the national team.

Maloca said: "It is true that we are without lot of good players, but this part  of the preparation has been very important.

"We are very good as a team. I think we can earn positive results and qualify for the finals. This will be very positive for this team after we underachieved last year."

Croatia face qualifying matches against Ukraine, Latvia and Slovakia in September.
