Ros Casares ace Margot Dydek has warned her team-mates against underestimating the threat posed by EuroLeague Women eighth-final play-off opponents Wisla Can-Pack Krakow.

And it would be wise for the Ros Casares players to listen to Polish international Dydek, who has plenty of experience of playing against her countrywomen having spent eight years at their great rivals Lotos Gdynia.

"I know the the club very well and the majority of the players, since I have played against them many times," the 2.15m center said. 

Ros Casares progressed through to the eighth-final play-offs after finishing second in Group C with a 6-4 record.

		Jelena Skerovic and Wisla Can-Pack are the lone EuroLeague Women side to defeat Spartak Moscow.

Wisla were marginally less successful in their qualifying round campaign, winning five of their 10 matches to finish in fourth spot in Group A.

However, Elmedin Omanic's side created one of the shocks of the round as they defeated Spartak Moscow Region 78-65 in Russia.

That was Spartak's only defeat in their 10 group games, and for Dydek it is a prime example of just how dangerous Wisla can be.

"This year they are managing to form a good team of professionals, but they are a little inconsistent," said the veteran.

"Wisla have a team capable of beating anyone, such as Spartak, but if they are not at 100% they can lose to anyone as well."

The good news for Ros Casares is that the first match of their play-off series against Wisla is at home on Tuesday night.

And if the tie goes to a deciding third match, then that will also be held in Valencia - something Dydek believes could be decisive.

"The key to the series is how we perform . Everything depends on us and, luckily, we play two in front of our fans, which is always a help," she said.

"To win, we need to maintain our concentration for the whole series."

Ros Casares warmed up for Tuesday's EuroLeague Women encounter with a 75-69 win over Universitat De Barcelona-FC Barcelona in the Liga Femenina at the weekend.

Dydek, in particular, put in an impressive display in the victory, pouring in a match-high 21 points as well as grabbing eight rebounds.

However, the 32-year-old insists it was no one-woman show against the Catalan outfit.

"In the Palau Blaugrana we returned to playing as a team, and so it became much easier to get past a team of the quality of UB FC Barcelona," she said.
